Stampalicious Thursday, Little Treat Basket!

Hi Everyone, it's Laurie here to show you how to make this fast and easy treat basket that goes perfectly with the new Moo-velous set!
This basket can be made with 1 piece of 8.5" x 11" cardstock (ignore the sticky note that says 11.5" it's 11')
With the cardstock vertical, cut at 6". Then with the larger piece horizontal cut at 6". The 6" square piece will be your basket. The handle is 1"x11" cut from the side piece. and to make the grass, cut 2 strips 1-1/8"x6" from the left over piece.

Well let this be a lesson that speeding through a tutorial is not good...the piece above is really 6x6...I have no idea how the wrong sticky note got in the photo!

Score the 6"x6" piece at 1.5" on all four sides. Make four cuts along the score line to the intersecting line, this makes the tabs. To create a nice even edge, trim away a tiny wedge as seen above. Cutting here keeps the box square and the edges even!
Add your adhesive to the strips, again this piece is actually 6"x6"! I would replace the photos, but I never have luck doing that, without creating more problems!
See how nice and clean the top edge is just by taking out that little wedge!
Now I used my paper snips to cut the grass, but to make it quicker, you could use these multi-cut scissors (they're Olivia's). Then add adhesive to the bottom edge of the grass.
For the fence, I used this die-namics die, but you could easily make one using strips of paper. These post are 1/4" wide and about 1-1/2" tall. Each of these pieces is 6" long.
I added some tiny strips of white to match up the 2 fence pieces.
Take your handle, 1"x11", add adhesive and attach to the inside of the box.

Now you have a cute little box ready to decorate, the inside measurement is 3"x3" and it's perfect for little treats!

I hope you liked this tutorial, and I am so sorry for the mistakes with the sticky notes.

Have a Great Day!
Laurie
